We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Diguality Cloud. Location: Berlin / Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and tools to ensure efficient application delivery.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring scalability and high availability of applications.
  • Identify and implement security measures to protect our infrastructure and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps domain.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, preferably at a senior level.
  • Strong expertise in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and debug issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
